Rima currently works as a school counselor and Section 504 Coordinator in Oradell, NJ. She holds an executive board position with the Bergen County School Counselor Association and co-facilitates a monthly state-wide school counselor peer consultation group for the New Jersey School Counselors Association. Prior to being a school counselor, Rima ran a successful private practice under her NJ license as a professional counselor. Before getting her masters degree, Rima worked as an associate director for a multi-million dollar 501c3 grant-making organization that supported early childhood education centers in low-income areas nationwide. Her responsibilities there included operational development, bookkeeping, grant application analysis, reporting to the Board of Directors, and office management.

Kelly is an Art Teacher with Ridgewood Public Schools, with 30 years of experience in public education. Kelly has a background in lifeguarding and coaching, and served as the NJPMA Diving Championship coordinator. She served as the Events Coordinator and the Service Unit Manager for GSNNJ Oakland. Having volunteered as the beach supervisor for 10 seasons, Kelly will add continuity to the overall management of the beach operations. As the volunteer beach supervisor she hired, trained, and supervised the lifeguarding staff, updated Emergency Action Plans as needed, successfully coordinated the opening preparations for the Board Of Health Inspection, implemented a Red-Cross Learn-To-Swim program and Waterfront Lifeguarding program, coordinated children’s activities, served on the Events Committee, initiated the Open House, coordinated family events such as Movie Nights, Family Campout, and the Fall Fest, assisted the Concert Committee, assisted local civic organizations and clubs run special events at the club, organized community service projects such as: Earth Day and Arbor Day, Craft & Vendor Day to benefit RBARI, Lake-A-Thons in support of the First Aid Squad, Toy Collections for Toys For Tots, and Food Drives for Ponds Pantry. She helped coordinate communication to beach members via social media and email. As Vice President, Kelly looks forward to working collaboratively with the community.

Kassie is currently employed in HR for a multinational corporation. She has a master’s degree in business, is a certified paralegal, and is licensed in commercial and personal lines insurance. She spent a large part of the past 20 years researching and implementing treatment and recovery protocols for family members with challenging health needs.

Laura Sebetich

Laura is currently employed by the Tenafly Board of Ed and works in the technology department as the District Data Coordinator. Her main responsibilities include managing the Genesis student information system and submitting all required NJ DOE state reports for the district, along with providing support to all system users. Prior to working in education, Laura worked as a data processing programmer in market research, and as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. As a fitness enthusiast, she enjoys using Crystal Lake for paddle boarding and swimming, and held the position of manager at the beach club for one season.

Alexandria is the owner of www.kreativejuicehouse.com and focuses on design for social change. She brings her years of graphic design, website design, and social media marketing expertise to the Crystal Lake Community Beach. Most of Alexandria’s clients are within the attraction and tourism industry, and she works with several chambers of commerce in Rockland County, NY. She is a liaison between specific chambers and the office of Rockland County Economic Development and Tourism (RCT), and represents her clients as well as RCT at the annual Travel & Adventure Show at the Javits Center. She also has years of experience in grant writing and has a database of musicians and craft vendors/artisans. Alexandria is currently a board member of the Oakland Chamber of Commerce.

Jon has been a peer-elected board member on trade federations responsible for advancement of critical technologies essential to our economy.

Michelle Kapturkieiwicz

Beach Operations

Michelle has 12 years of aquatics experience, managing lifeguarding staff at multiple pool and waterfront facilities as well as working for Sandy Hook Gateway National park for Surf Rescue. Responsibilities included providing customer service, maintaining safety of patrons, beach set up and upkeep, and conducting lifeguard trainings and swim lessons via the American Red Cross instructor standards. Michelle also has 10 years of emergency medical service (EMS) experience providing aid to our community at our local nonprofit first aid squad, while holding multiple leadership positions and orchestrating medical presentations for public outreach. She is in the process of furthering her career in health and public safety. Michelle looks forward to continuing with running day-to-day operations at the beach, managing lake safety efforts, instructing aquatic programs, volunteering with beach club maintenance, taking part in family friendly events, and being a positive impact on the community.

Brian is the owner of Ginger Thumbs Landscaping, based in Ridgewood, NJ. He has 15+ years in professional landscaping, specializing in ornamental trees, but has vast experience in overall grounds maintenance. Brian has also sat on the board of two nonprofit organizations. The roles of both were to bring awareness and help to Veterans and PTSD.
