Locally based group of Oakland Residents

Crystal Lake Community Beach (CLCB), a newly formed locally based group of Oakland Residents and sponsored beach club members, has been actively collaborating to create a sustainable and transferable business model that can carry forward and expand the unique offerings of the Crystal Lake Beach Property to the residents of Oakland, NJ. The Crystal Lake Community Beach group will operate the beach in order to provide the following to Oakland:

• Green and open space protected from development
• A unique, natural, chlorine free, family friendly swimming facility
• Water safety training
• Space for families to host gatherings
• A venue that can continue to be used by local groups for meetings and fundraising events
• A venue for local music and arts events
• A close-to-home opportunity for young families to connect with the natural world and learn about the environment
